Hi, we are Cameron and Camille, owners of Cairn Skincare! We are a husband and wife from Colorado that love the mountains and living a non toxic lifestyle. If you are a hiker or have been in the mountains before, you know that cairns are vertical stacks of balanced rocks that hikers build along trails to signify that you are on the right path. Many people also know them as meditation rocks. They also signify peace, grounding, balance, and patience. The cairn inspired us to help you along your journey to health with our ancestral tallow skincare!

Our passion started when we went all in for our health and eliminated processed food, toxic chemicals, seed oils, and plastics in our food and environment. We realized that even the lotions that are branded as “natural” have questionable ingredients, so we switched to beef tallow balm. We researched the benefits of grass fed tallow for the skin, and in 2024 Camille became inspired to make tallow balm right in her kitchen so she could source the highest quality ingredients and know exactly what was going into their skin. Then we saw how many chemicals and seed oils were in sunscreens, so she developed her own natural mineral sunscreen to protect their skin, even while hiking at high elevation. We started sharing our creations locally to friends and family, and they all enjoyed it so much that we wanted to help more people nourish their skin and eliminate toxic products.
